December 1st welcomed us with a winter wonderland. Never in our lives has this happened. Coming from Georgia, we rarely see snow, but we knew that would change in Michigan. Well, Michigan delivered.
Garon said, "Let's go sledding." Funny fact about me; I've only even gone sledding on a surf board in the middle of North Carolina on the way to my Grandma's house. So, I said, "Yes!"
Maddie LOVED it! She galloped like a maniac alongside us every time we went down the hill. You'll see that in the short film I made, posted below.
I just couldn't believe how beautiful everything was around us. The ice storm the night before laid down a coat of ice on everything. So dangerously beautiful.
Garon made a snowman and he was massive. He loved every minute of it, but his hands were soaked by the end.

We had a blast, and so did Maddie. It was only about an hour out there, but we were cold. So, we went home to Home Alone and hot chocolate. Safe to say it was the best day. Enjoy the short film I made, and I hope you feel like you're there with us.
p.s. Song choice was definitely heavily influenced by Toy Story. Do you hear it?
